Republic World and Arnab Goswami
Arnab Goswami is an Indian journalist and newscaster who serves as Republic Media Network’s, managing director and editor-in-chief. From 2006 to 2016, Goswami served as Times Now and ET Now’s editor-in-chief and news anchor before joining Republic TV. He had previously worked for NDTV and The Telegraph.

Asianet (ARG Outlier Asianet News Private Limited), which was principally owned by Rajeev Chandrasekhar, provided financial support for Republic TV in part.
In 2017, the channel was made available as a free-to-air channel across the majority of direct-to-home television providers in India and cable operators, as well as on mobile platforms like JioTV and Hotstar.
