Vishnu Deo Sai: Vishnu Deo Sai, who is the former Chhattisgarh BJP president, now will be the new chief minister of Chhattisgarh state. After becoming the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Vishnu Deo Sai said ‘ As a Chief Minister, my duty will be to complete all the promises which we made to the people. Every section of society has faced difficulty during the five years of Congress rule. And around eighteen lakh people have not got the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Awas scheme.

Further, he said that ‘On 25th December, On Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birthday anniversary a bonus for two years will be given to the farmers. And we will complete all the promises that have been made, under the ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’.

Vishnu Deo Sai who was born in a family in Bagia in Jashpur district, Vishnu Sai is comes from a political background. Senior Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dilip Singh Judev, who is known for leading the Ghar Wapsi campaign in Chhattisgarh, was among those who backed Vishnu Sai whose political career was started in the 1980s.

A three-time state, BJP president, Vishnu Sai is also known in party circles for being a gentle leader. The lowest point of his political career came when he lost the constituency of Pathalgaon in two consecutive Assembly elections in the years 2003 and 2008.

He also took over the state unit for the third time in 2020, but he was sidelined last year. But after getting an opportunity again this time, Vishnu Rao won the Kunkuri seat in the Surguja division by 25 thousand votes. The BJP’s seat tally of 54 was pushed by his performance in the tribal regions in north and south Chhattisgarh.

In Surguja, the BJP grabbed all fourteen Assembly election seats this time, And in the southern tribal belt of Bastar, the BJP won eight of the twelve seats. Giving a huge blow to the Congress’s chances of winning in Chhattisgarh. The same Congress had clean swipe the region in the year 2018.
