The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau, is investigating a commercial armed robbery. According to investigators, two unknown black males entered the convenience store at 1000 NE 215 Street Miami, Florida. The pair were brandishing a black semi-automatic firearm.
The subjects ordered victim#1 and victim#3 to the ground and demanded victim#2 open the cash register. The employee was nervous and was unable to open the register causing subject#1 to rack his firearm and advise that he was going to kill them.
Simultaneously, the oven timer went off startling the subjects making them think it was an alarm and they fled on foot in an eastbound direction.
The subjects were only able to take victim#1’s wallet with $70 dollars in US currency. Surveillance video captured the image of the subjects, lowering their mask as they entered the store. Investigators are seeking the assistance of the community for any information that could lead to the arrest of these individuals.
