By Jose Lambiet, GossipExtra.com, Special to EyesOnNews.com, Apr. 3, 2015 – MIAMI BEACH – Rapper Lil Wayne listed his house in Miami Beach for sale today, just two weeks after the local SWAT team descended on the La Gorce Cirle property after a false report of shots fired.
Weezy, 32, wants a cool $18 million for the home, which he bought in August 2011 for $11.6 million.
According to the real estate website Redfin, the house is big for a little guy. It has 15,000 square feet of space, nine bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, and sweeping views of Biscayne Bay.
Here is how the property is being marketed: “This architectural masterpiece is home to purity of design offering +/-15,000 sf of interior living area. Rich woods, expanses of glass, steel & select marble are lavished throughout this ultra-modern residence that features sky terraces with incredible views, 3br guest house and 2-story master suite accessible by a glass elevator. This 3-level estate w/+/-120′ of water frontage offers an unmatched lifestyle on La Gorce Island, a private oasis of serenity and breathtaking beauty.”
If the singer of Lollypop ever wanted privacy at the house, his hopes were crushed March 11 when dozens of Miami Beach Police officers rushed to the property.
The cops closed down the neighborhood and rifle-totting SWAT members eventually entered the house because of a report of shots fired.
The 911 call ended up being a hoax.
