By Jose Lambiet, GossipExtra.com, Special to EyesOnNews.com, May 15, 2015 – WELLINGTON — A Royal Palm Beach man has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of animal cruelty after he allegedly mowed down nine ducklings on his first day of a new landscaping job.
The incident occurred earlier this month as Jason Scott Falbo, 24, was cutting the grass on a private property inside Wellington’s fancy gated community of Olympia.
In April, according to criminal records, the same suspect was accused of battery, domestic battery by strangulation and cruelty toward a child – aggravated child abuse.
He was out on his own recognizance when he mowed down the ducklings.
Two witnesses enamored by a mama Muscovy duck and her eleven baby ducklings were watching their fine-feathered friends eat some food they’d left out for them.
According to the Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control Arrest report, Falbo was on a large riding mower.
He allegedly deviated from the path he was cutting, and headed for the baby ducks.READ MORE
